Just got back from our second trip to G.C. The place was dead. Time of the year etc etc possibly. After getting stung for drinks in the so called swingers meeting bars ( worked out nearly 50% more for drinks there than the ordanary bars in the centers ) off to the clubs we went. What a dissapointment. Secrets the largest one ,, empty ,, the ownere said they can get up to 10 couples on a good night and weekends were busy. He then asked mrs if she'd shag three iffy, grubby looking fellas that were looking pissed off they paid 30 euros to get get in,, which neeless to say he politly declined. We lasted about 45 mins had a couple of drinks and was presented with a bar bill for 21 euros.
Fun 4 all i think its called was empty,, well 2 couples and a hoard of single fellas. Skin to skin , what a grubby place that was, all the stools were slashed, as soon as we got in we had the wanking man 2 inches behind us , everyone one sitting there looking lost. 10 euros for a glass of undrinkable wine ( or thats what it was ment to be ) and a tiny froffy beer.
Saveing grace was the Venus club,, had a couple of good nights out there, quite a few people there and a good buzz to the place.
I think we get spoilt in the uk ,, espcially in the south west , with good clubs like Secrets in Totnes,, Decadents at Burnham and a few others.
We did go back to Secrets gran canaria (dont mix the uk and GC ones up , different league altogeter ) on the sat night for the busy night,, well.. about 8 single fellas 3 couples including us and some friends and about 3 other couples who came in and left after a few mins.
Think its a bit over rated as the second swinging capital or europe. |
