La mirage or spice

Essex, near basildon

Anyone got any advice on which is best? We like the look of GC as it has the swingers bars and clubs but Spice seems quite nice but wondered if you could wander out to other bars and clubs. Don't like being in the middle of nowhere

Hi,La Mirage is very close to Playa del ingles which is a few Euros by taxi. La mirage is not a four star hotel but a set of bungalows with jacuzzis, a pool, a bar and a few other extras. Check its location on Google earth to get a good idea. There's also pics and videos on their website.

Its very cosy and the staff are very friendly and I would recommend it. Read trip advisor to get a better idea though.

Again cant fault La Mirage... plenty to do day and night.. We checked out Spice but we found it very expensive !!!

We are heading to LA mirage in April really excited xx didnt want to try spiuce because of price...

Spice is a nice place but sadly Lanzarote has nothing else to offer as far as swinging bars and clubs go.

As long as you are happy to stay in one place lanzarote is a nice place but for swinging it can't go anywhere near Gran Canaria or at least PDI.

Pity Lanzarote doesn't cotton on to the business swingers bring, especially out of school hols.

Thanks everyone, it is pretty much as we thought, spice seems nicer in terms of accomodation etc. but costly, whereas la mirage seems better located in terms of not feeling trapped in a swingers place.

Friends of ours have been to Spice twice, they liked it the first time, but the second time they saod the food had really gone downhill for what you pay and they wouldn't go again.

La Mirage is fun, and there are loads of good cheap restaurants in the Yumbo centre and around Playa del Ingles, Martel's inn the Yumbe is one of our favourites, and El Caretone opposite the Gran Chaparrel, ask for the set menu though, they don't offer that for foreigners you have to ask, 11.99 for 3 courses including a large glass of wine and coffee after.

Spice have done well to keep going and to do as well as they have considering that Lanzarote is just so NOT a swingers kind of place.
