I enjoyed the beach and Port Nature evening ambience as ever last year BUT was frankly staggered at the numbers of fully dressed people all over the 'naked city' (late August), and I was told it was similar on the campsite. I enjoy the nudie aspect so any views on this, and can anyone advise on a possible alternative this summer?

We have noticed the same thing over the past few years..

A lot of people wearing thongs and shorts during the daytime. It's one thing to cover up from the sun, another thing entirely to wear clothing to cover up through modesty or whatever.

Not sure if there's anything that they can do, despite the notices saying 'nudity obligatoire'....

We're looking into a holiday this April to cap d'adge, it looks brilliant, but... While my husband will be very comfortable walking around naked I'm not so, not through being shy or anything, I can't even walk around the house naked like my husband, I get cold! We're not really looking for a naturist holiday, we would be there for the swinging, but I'm feeling a little put off incase I'm expected to be naked the whole time, (I'm a female, we like shopping! Which means we like buying new clothes for a holiday! I love shoes!) would we feel unwelcome if I wore clothes during the day? You have to leave something to the imagination right? How can us ladies make ourselves more attractive if we can't use accessories? Please help, we would love to go to cap but my insecurities are getting in the way.

You keep shopping for those sexy clothes and shoes as you will need them for the evenings !!! The sexier the better Daytimes nude on the beach evenings sexy clothing - simples have fun x

Costa Blanca Spain...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. In April it can still be quite chilly especially at night, so I think most people will be wearing something. Also at that time of year the night life is really only at the weekends, it can be pretty quiet midweek.

Accessories and nice shoes... Of course. But you will look very out of place not being naked in the daytime. As for swinging and nightlife, be prepared for it to be very, very quiet in April.

Well it all depends on the individual. A nice small sarong can be very sexy. It's all about confidence, if being naked is your preference, the weather will certainly be a little better than UK! Today, 25th Jan its 16c & sunny intervals, enjoyed a nice vin on the marina! Cap has lots to offer & not necessarily all on the naturist quarter. Some ppl miss out on an awful lot of French culture & shopping! Only way you can make a rational opinion - come & see for yourselves!
