Yes folks it seems that this bar is now closed, so need to rethink where the fun starts

Must just be closed for holidays, usually quiet on the swinging front during school holiday period in GC, comeback bar usually closes in August for a while as well.

Lets all hope it will be open for mid to late Sept onwards. I know they are closing early to mid December as they are going to Norway for while to a "party" wink wink.

It closed from 1st September, dont know the reasons behind it and no idea if it is re-opening, just have to wait and see. We are there saturday so hope to be able to post more info then

We questioned 6 months ago if Miaow could survive the notoriously quiet summer season in GC.

Whilst it was promoted well on here as being the place to be, with many slating The Comeback Bar in favour of Miaow, it seemed to us that the "foreigners" just didn't take to it. The vast majority of swinging holidaymakers are from other parts of Europe, with Germans and Scandanavians making up the bulk and for them The Comeback Bar was the only place to be.

So where now for those that knocked and slated The Comeback bar for being overpriced or serving watered down drinks??

May we suggest Kims Bar up in Gran Chapparal where for the measly sum of €1.80 you can still get a pint. It may taste like piss, but at least its cheap

For cheap drinks I can recommended friar tuck's as well

5 minutes walking distance from Cita, opposite boney m at the avenida tirajana

Terrace outside and lovely staff

We were there late August and the owners told us they were moving to new premises in the CITA but would be closed for a few weeks while they refurbished.

Reports of their demise may be premature

kims bar is good we will be there 28th sept its cheap n cheerful not sure any swingers in there tho lol

Loads of swingers get into kims bar and its only 1:50 pint 2:50 named short with mixer let kim know your a swinger and she will point out the others

Just to point out to people here, kim's bar is not a swingers bar, they bill themselves as a family bar, so fetish gear probably would not be good!

It is good fun there though, cheap, they have karaoke and singers etc, Sunday roasts and football, basically a typical English bar abroad
