I go there three times a year. I'm going 15th November for three weeks.

Where are you staying ?

I definitely recommend the monkey forest and the sacred crocodile pool plus a trip to Serrakunda market.

Late Sunday afternoon a reggae party on the beach. A boat trip through the mangroves. Tanji fishing village. The Gunjur turtle project. So much to see.

For a really great full day out you can combine Tanji, the turtle project, the snake and reptile farm then go on to Doudou's in the south, overlooking the river border with Senegal. You can usually see pelicans and you can enjoy an excellent meal of freshly caught fish. If you want you can even take a short small boat ride over to Senegal.

Make sure you have a £20 note for when you arrive at Banjul airport. And dominoes beach bar on a Friday night is great it’s next to Kombo beach hotel

I normally do but whenever I haven’t been for a while it’s always been £20 and I’d give my delasi to others travelling there

Well if we cross paths out there, I’ll definitely say hello. Hope you have a great time when you next travel there
