Visiting the Philippines for the first time staying just south of Manila for three weeks . Anybody been ? Have advice or recommendations?

I'm heading out on the 11th of november, will be in manilla for a night and then moving onto coron and palawan if this falls with any of your plans

travel down through palawan, coron, elnido,port barton puerto princesa would be a must do for me, but cebu is (moalboal) is nice also. although i read they've been badly effected by the typhoons again
