Anyone on the Marella cruises or thinking about booking. We definitely recommend the premium package.

For the two of us, we pay an extra £178 and this means that we have access to all upgrades, so no limits of which cocktails we can have, all spirits and beers, so if you like a good cognac or a grey goose. Canned soft drinks, so a nice fever tree tonic to go with your gin. And good coffee at the coffee port.

I’d guess unless you subscribe to Musk’s service, then you’ll have to pay for satellite services on the ship. Otherwise, if you’re able to wait when you’re at port, you could connect to the local network provider then and utilise your data roaming with your network provider.

If you don’t have roaming, then a provider like airalo, for example, would be a good choice for an eSIM local to the country.

Has anyone found a way around ship wifi ?

Last marella cruise I paid for wifi package on ship only to find they had a adult content block on it so couldn't get onto fab or anything else interesting

Great suggestion! This also works out cheaper than Marella’s offering. In think I paid £40 for 2GB.

1GB for €15 (about £13) is a no brainer.
