Appreciate that there are a few reviews on Fata but I noticed nobody’s done a detailed one for a while so thought we would post one.

Location - We stayed in the Prinsengracht area of Amsterdam which is quite central and is very convenient for getting around the Centrum district.

Uber’s were very easy to arrange and the journey down to the club very near to Muiden just off the motorway took only 20 minutes.

Cost down was Euro 26 and and coming back Euro 36.

Drivers knew where they were going and joked that he had visited there as a customer previously.

The wait for the Ubers was 7mins and 11 mins respectively.

The Club

Wow just wow. After you walk down the red carpet and enter, you then pay your admission fee which for Saturday is currently 170 euros ( Couple ) which is roughly £142.

It sounds steep but for this you get access to all areas, a hot buffet, cold salad buffet and any drink alcoholic or non alcoholic that you want.

Dress down is between 10pm and 11pm. For men it’s underwear or whatever sexy garments you choose to wear. Likewise the same for the ladies.

We arrived at 21:20 and already about 80 couples were present so dressed down straight away. Chameleons habits die hard

Inside the club you have a large dance floor with a DJ playing various remixes of classics and new tunes alike.

Next to the dance floor there were 3 areas which were glass screened off and these acted as chill out areas and were very tastefully furnished.

The dance area was very noisy but the glass acted a great sound barrier so having a conversation with others was easy.

There were two bars both well staffed with a good selection of wines and spirits and Heineken served draught.

You can go to the bar as much as you like.

What was really refreshing was that the locals with the exception of one couple didn’t need to get pissed. If they were then they were hiding it very well. Just everything about the place was civilised and classy.

There is a buffet just behind the bar which was great with its own seated area.

The Hot Buffet had dishes such as Meatballs, KFC styled chicken, ribs, chips, chicken skewers and vegetable dishes.

Cold Buffet section had Salad choices such as Tuna Mayo, lettuce, A Russian salad kind of dish, a few other choices.

There is also an Ice Cream station.

Play areas.

All the playrooms were immaculately decorated.

Not one plastic mattress in sight.

Lighting was perfect not to bright not to dark.

A small bin of condoms and waste bin were located in each room.

There are approximately 10 playrooms over 3 levels. There is even a play area on a balcony over the dance floor.

We really liked the sensual room in the attic which had a very sensual and calm atmosphere. They even had tantric, chill out style of music lightly playing in the background.

There is also a dungeon and apparently europes biggest darkroom. It was so dark that we couldn’t see our hands in front our faces.

Plenty of places to play and very very clean. Also the club had some really nice scents being pumped into the rooms.

The Jaccuzi is huge. P swam in it for 1 minute. It’s the size of a mini swimming pool.

Showers clean with some nice smelling gel and a very nice sauna that we tried.

The website really conveys the club well. Hands down the best facilities we have encountered.

The clientele.

So P had a count around as he is a bit of a geek. Approximately 130 - 150 couples but still loads of room to move around. The dance floor got very crowded at the start. The Dutch seem to love a good dance.

Most appeared to be Dutch. We spoke to several couples. For a few it was their first time. A few Brits but very few.

There was also a few Germans around.

Age ranged from 25 - 65. Most appeared to be in the 30 - 45 years old bracket.

It also looked like quite a few travelled in groups and knew each other.

Everyone was so polite and there was a lot of play going on, it was very erotic to see and not crass.

They seriously knew how to party and we were fortunate to have a soft play experience but we are both quite short V is only 5’2 so we felt very short compared to some of Dutch who were over 6ft.

Overall it was an awesome experience and we wonder if a super club like this would work in the U.K.? Would people pay a premium for what was a premium product? The culture relating to sex was one of the most open and respectful that we have seen. I hope this essay was helpful to anyone heading that way.
