Dublin (sometimes London)

Does anyone have any recommendations for resorts or hotels other than the usual Gran Canaria/ PDI destinations. We are looking for something smaller and more intimate? Doesn't need to be in Spain, but would want it to be in Europe (preferably a warm climate!).

Would be keen to know if anyone has any experience or recommendations.
