We are heading to Berlin for first time visit for a long weekend in mid February.

Looking for any fabbers tips on must see/do’s/experiences and of course tips for the our kind of fun side too.

Also, if any fabbers are planning a visit or there around mid February, do let us know. Xx

somewhere

Swinging: Insomnia, a proper swingers club with a couples only area and substantial dungeon if you are into hat kind of thing, usually lots of dancing as well.

Kit Kat though its basically a super club (dance) where sex is tolerated in a couple of areas though it's unlikely you will meet another couple to swing with as it's usually couples with their own partners. Expect up to an hour to queue to get in at busy times, more of a tourist 'must do' thing rather than go for swinging.

If the weather is OK take a boat trip but we highly recommend the hop on hop off bus tours and if the weather is good jump off at the Tiergarten (Café am Neuen See) for a drink and bite to eat.

A walk in Alexanderplatz (shops and market behind the station) and the TV Tower or a walk down Friedrichstraße for shops that leads to Checkpoint Charlie though it's not overwhelming.

Places to try:

The museums are excellent

Berliner Dom

Jewish holocaust memorial

In the evening:

Find one of the many small micro brewery restaurants such as the Marcus Brewery Berlin.

Side note:

Look out for little brass plaques in the pavement, you'll know what they are when you see them. If you see two rows of bricks in the road that don't align with anything else then that makes the Berlin wall!
