Anyone been to Hamburg and visited the Reeperbahn?

We are going but just for a day (we are on a cruise). I know it would be much more exciting at night but keen to hear anyone's experiences of the area.

Unfortunately we are there on a Sunday during the day.

I have thought about maybe a sex cinema? I believe they have a couple which are part of large sex shops. Might just be a few video booths but could be fun to have a look round and maybe a bit of a play.

Costa Blanca Spain...

Be very careful.

Many (if not all) of the live sex shows are hostess bars.

They will drag you in with all sorts of promises (cheap/free drinks Etc) Then the cocktail (cola) that you buy the hostess costs you 50€ or more. If you try to argue they can be quite aggressive.

If you want to look in the windows then Herbertstrasse, just off the Reeperbahn, is the place to go but only men are allowed. Women have to wait at the entrance.

Oh and assuming it's still there, The Beatles museum is a load of shite.

Nowadays when we go to Hamburg we don't bother with that area at all. The city itself has much more to offer than rip off sex.
