A bit of Amsterdam fun?

Hey all, we have a trip booked in a couple of weeks to Amsterdam and aside from the usual tourist stuff we are looking for some other spicy things to do.

Sure to my excellent planning we are going Monday - Friday and so must of the clubs are closed...

Do people have any other suggestions?

Hi there

Our first ever club was in Amsterdam - Same Place

And we’ve been back twice since then!

It’s open most evenings during the week. We have been midweek once and it was quieter than the weekend but still had a buzz and plenty of play

It’s convenient for the city centre. There’s a bar with seating all around and there are play areas off of that. Then there’s a downstairs area which is all play.

The whole place isn’t huge but we like it a lot. Lots of different nationalities and variety of people. Couples as well as singles. Everybody is friendly and respectful

Reasonable pricing but take cash!

Have a fun time in Amsterdam, it’s a great city!

Hey thanks for the advice. We had looked at it but it seemed to have some mixed reviews so we were a bit hesitant especially with it being out first club experience.

We'll probably give it a go though!

Some of the mixed reviews come from single guys, they’re pretty strict on numbers / dress code with them.

From our experience they were really welcoming.

And there’s no pressure to do anything at all.

Im looking at taking my partner to Amsterdam next year as a christmas gift. Would love some recommendations once you’ve been. Still looking at trying to find some nice accommodation that give off sexy vibes plus some good sexy night life spots other than swinging clubs

I second Same Place, been a few times as a couple. It’s good fun 👍

It isn’t just bad reviews from single men though. In fact the manager only seems to let on about 4 or 5 midweek and they’re usually his mates and harmless enough.

Other clubs in Europe can be much fancier and like cocktail bars, so at first glance you could be disappointed. But, it you imagine Same Place as being a little rougher round the edges, more like an Australian or Irish bar you will get the idea.

And it’s not very expensive, bar is ok, and even midweek there’s usually a number of couples there. Often tourists, we met and played with American and Mexican couples last time, and an Irish couple before that.

SDC is a good site to check out local couples and visiting tourists. I often post a travel plan saying we’re going to Same Place to try and drum up some custom, and message a few with their own travel plans listed.

Only late night bar I’ve been to was St Christopher’s at the Winston, which was open late and good fun. Girl I know that moved to Amsterdam from Paris took me there, even sneaked some fun in the semi mixed toilets upstairs 😂
