Hi!

I don't have a hotel recommendation, but I'll be in Amsterdam for the dates! I can have a poke around for hotels, though

We really recommend volks Hotel. Quirky loads going on roof top bar . Metro station outside easy links to the town centre

I travel monthy but tend to shop around, staying at different hotels. Price to vary depending on events.

Sometimes I stay round Amsterdam Zuid if you don't mind the metro. Can get some good deals.

Stayed at the Volks Hotel several times. Quirky and unique, but not for everyone.

All about budget really.

Can recommend:

Krasnapolsky

Rho

The Manor

Eden

We rather like Sebastian’s, it’s just far enough out of the centre to escape the noise.

Zurich. NOT London.

We love the Kimpton De Witt. Not a budget hotel, but a gorgeous boutique hotel with a lovely bar.

Remember wine hour! Check the times with reception. Most guests meet in the bar for an hour of free wine and snacks.

Yes! Have completely forgotten about the marathon some years and have ended up leaving parties after they close public transport so have had to walk back to accommodation…. Not ideal after a night of partying!

So can confirm the Kimpton is bloody lovely! The staff amazing, my room fantastic, the location is right near the station, just a short walk to Jordann one way, and a couple of streets off the RLD. Some great restaurants around and some good bars, real beer or cocktails, not to mention the cocktail bar in the hotel… highly recommend!

Hi , I live here and I would recommend luxer Hotel in Central location and if want something a little closer I would recommend mövenpick Hotel which is 10 minute walk from the centre , if would like to know anything else , and of course if fancy meeting when here that would be nice to meet you , even if just for a drink and to tell you all the good places to go

For something different try the Sir Adam hotel. It's on Amsterdam Noord but is reached by means of a free, 4 minute ferry crossing from Centraal Station. Rooms are small but many have great views of the city and all are kitted out with record players and a selction of classic albums.

The bar downstairs is huge and really popular with guests and locals.
