We have done Arvia and Iona and we all preferred Iona to be honest, not sure why just didn’t get the same feel on the Arvia. We also really liked Britannia

We went to the Caribbean in February 2024 on Arvia.

Lots of nice places and great weather but it was spoiled by constantly being hassled wherever we went, none stop at the ports for taxis and tours and every half hour on a beach with people trying to sell crap.

Would not go back unless it was a very good price to make it worth it. Everyone is different though so it’s all down to preference etc

We prefer to book direct as it's easier to add things or change things if needed rather than going through a travel agent.

However I gather there can be more perks/incentives booking with an agent.

Just a bit of advice: Do not pay gratuities. We have been on 10 cruises with different cruise companies and have not paid any gratuities on the last eight. We prefer to pay selected gratuities to those who deserve it. Just go to the customer service desk and tell them not to add any gratuities onto your bill.
