The Riu Palace is next to the Riu Karamboa. The Riu Touareg is on the other side of the island. However, there is a party night in the Karamboa when guests from all three hotels can attend. PM if you want more info.

Ah, thank you. Yeah we stayed in the Palace last year and went to the Karamboa party nights. Wasn't aware that Touareg guests could go too though.

That is exactly the case and they are massive. They alternate between neon and white, so pack a bit of both as everyone does x

We booked with Tui and are staying in tbe Riu Palace. Ive been 4 times to the islands and would only stay in a hotel. There are definitely areas i would not go after dark. I guess its like lots of places lots of street/ beach sellers who can be a little tiresome hassling to make a sale.

Both are very quiet. Sal has a promenade with a few bars, restaurants and clubs. Boa vista has none of that really, just the odd beach bar. Neither has a Swinging scene just those of us that happen to go.
