We're out in Bangkok 6th-9th then down to Koh Samui for a week after, heading home on Sunday 16th.

Any couples out there while we are who fancy a social meet and maybe a nightcap if all goes well, drop us a line!

Swinging is illegal in Thailand, and the law is enforced. So there are no swinging clubs anywhere.

To find other swingers in Thailand:

Download this site’s “Who is near” ap to your phone

Log on to https://m.fabswingers.com on your computer

Look at website “thai-swingers.com”.

We knew about the lack of clubs etc due to the law there. Seems crazy with everything that is allowed to go on there...

Will definitely check that site out and use the 'who's near' function here.

Anyone else out there when we are?

Thai society is male-dominated, like the vast majority of societies around the world.

Wives are “owned”, as in “MY” wife. And you don’t want another man interfering with your personal private property, do you?

So the anti-swinging law is enforced.

On the other hand, daughters are “above” animals, but “below” sons. Most Thais live in poverty, so a blind eye is turned to the fact that a daughter is earning good money as a “waitress” in a big city.

Thai laws about prostitution are similar to the English ones. The “age of consent” is 18. Prostitution – paying for sex - is perfectly legal. Soliciting on the streets isn’t – you have to speak to her first. Brothels are illegal – the bars and massage parlours, etc. charge you rent for their rooms, and are in no way interested in what you pay the girls for sex.

Thai culture fascinating, and not at all what it appears to be to us so-called “civilised” people!

Indeed.

For me, visiting Thailand is like visiting another planet.

The Thais’ religious beliefs are SERIOUSELY weird!

Holidays in Thailand can be enjoyed on multiple levels if you have the time and inclination.
