We went 3 years ago, so just a word of caution mate, if you hire a scooter make sure you carry your driving licence & wear a helmet, I got pulled at a road side check (there's loads around the island) & I didn't have mine on me & got a £50 (tourist) fine despite me saying I'd take it into the police station they weren't interested.

Beautiful & extremely hot island but not much nightlife. Have a great holiday mate.

Yeah Langkawi is fantastic, you’ll have a great time. Ask around the area about nightlife I’m sure you’ll find some it’s a bit more commercialised nowadays
