Berlin - visiting in June Hotel suggestions ?

Hi

We're arranging trip to Berlin for 7-10 days in June.

Anyone help with hotel suggestions, budget and above, but fun opportunities and location more important than price.

Doing the tourist bit - galleries and museums, wife is an artist so art and design important - but fun opportunities/ suggestions wanted as well

We're not yet full on fun but want to expand our experiences

Help ?

Thanks

Park Inn Alexanderplatz is a decent option. Very well located and reasonably priced. Worth a look.

Premier Inn has 3 hotels in Berlin. Have stayed in 2 of them. Also, Ibis has 2 by KadeWe and, they are close to the transport links.

Park Inn on Alexanderplatz or Radisson Blue on Alexanderplatz are very well situated for everything touristy, you may pay a few euros extra for location but save it on public transport and taxis.

Anywhere near Alexanderplatz or Friedrichstrasse is good. Can recommend the Berliner Republik for food and drink

Public transport is 24/7 in Berlin so location isn’t usually an issue. Look for areas that interest you and see what’s near there. So much to choose from. They do Air b and b as well which can be cheaper.

Thanks to everyone, all very helpful.

KitKat and Insomnia might be a bit full on for us, and we might not be glam enough for their door policy - but may be others more low key.

Anyway thanks for the info and more thoughts welcomed

We are 4 weeks out from our first visit to Berlin, having massive concerns about clothing for insomnia on a Wednesday night, surely you don’t have to turn up in your club wear? Also as mad as this may sound what the fuck am I wearing on my feet? In the uk I go bear foot In swinger clubs but insomnia appears to be a nightclub so I guess bear foot is not aloud, plz help

Berlin

Avarus is a good spot, it’s a lot more chill than insomnia. Kitkat on a Saturday night is quite an experience too

Think Avarus for us, certainly to start with, then see if we've got stamina for the others

Avarus is very relaxed and chilled, very nice Spa area and Jacuzzi. Play rooms are clean and very opened , so no real privacy, ends up more like a gang bang/orgy style .

Insomnia is just crazy. Anything goes , upstairs or down stairs , sum experience.

Enjoy ??

How easy is it for a single guy to get in to these clubs? I’m visiting Berlin in April and hoping to visit at least one while I’m there.

Avarus and Insomina .

Too different levels

Isomina by name and nature mad spot . Avarus for the slightly more mature n relaxed nite .

Meant to go to KitKat which is like an adult disco at times.
