I just came back from my first trip on Sunday.

Saturday seems to be the major change over day of groups.

I really recommend hitting up vitamins for a couple of weeks before you go, and keeping it going while there. Also hangover cures like diorlyte or liquid IV are essential.

Take a thermal cup with a lid for your cocktails as it will keep them cold for longer. The resort gives you a water bottle and there are filling stations all around, but it's not thermal so it gets warm.

The nude pool is generally quiet until about 1/2pm then it's jumping. Rest in the morning or do excursions and activities.

Have snacks/drinks in your room. If youre an earlier riser, there's no breakfast before 7.30. you can get coffee though. I found chocolate and water in the fridge really helped (especially when you have friends over).

Medication is really expensive in the shop so take everything you need - paracetamol, brufen, eye drops, anti histamines, plasters, sun cream.

You definitely don't need as many clothes as you think. A wrap or shorts/top for breakfast and any outfits for dinner/theme nights, plus travel clothes. I went with one carry in size suitcase, and it was mostly toiletries and other stuff.

I don't recommend heels as the floors can be slippery. I wore fold up ballet slippers pretty much the whole time.

Happy to answer any questions if I can

Thank you for this, alot of good info. Which time of year would you book if you had the choice? And where do you usually book? Do you do it separate or are their packages that can be found?

We've been a couple of times and booked independently - our flights with Virgin and booked Hedo directly. We're going again next week and have booked flights again through Virgin but have booked the hotel through Tom's Trips, an American co. This way we'll get involved in group activities and special trips and there's a slight discount.

We went in Nov '19 before covid and again this June. The weather was similar temp, it's around 30 degrees usually but def wetter in June. Short storms most afternoons but didn't spoil the fun!

Hedo do lots of special offers, especially on Wild Wednesday once a month, but Tom's will match the price. There are lots of groups you can book with, there's loads of info on the Hedo site. The main 3 are Tom's Trips, wet, wild and wicked and the Fluffernutters.

If you're going as a single woman I'd recommend a group.

I've just booked again for November next year, mostly because people I met this year are going at the same time. The weather was nice, 30 degrees most days. Rainstorm a couple of nights.

I've booked via the dirty pervs this time, because I can't book direct with the hotel. I'll book flights with virgin myself. The hotel itself does packages with flights, but you might be limited when you can go.

There is a lot of good advice in this string about Hedo. A lot depends on the time of year too. We usually go in January during Swingtopia, but November is also a good time to go. Winter sun is always a good thing, especially when missed with the sea and sex. E&L
