If you want real authentic food and Fado the best place is Alfalma by far. Don’t chat during Fado there, they will stop playing and everyone stares at you.

Bica is more lively for just drinking or modern European food/ambience.

In the daytime get over to LX Factory if you like real ale / IPA and the famous Ler Devagar bookshop is a must
