Dublin

Yeah I went there about 12 years ago.

It has an awful lot for such a small country.

Great hiking in Durmitor National Park. Bobotov Kuk is a great day hike.

Nice beaches (stony) at Budva and Kotor is a lovely place

Cheap too!

Don't remember much about the food tbh.

You could visit Bosnia too on the same trip. I loved it there. Sarajevo was really special

Work Abroad / London

Have visited a number of times.

Best location to stay is by the shore on Bay of Kotor.

Lots of very good Air B & B accomodation and very Bars & Restaurants.

Kotor is beautiful and easy to get around and visit other places also.

I’ve been in Montenegro last year. Kotor, Tivat, Budva are all great to visit and very close to each other (30min drive). For Bosnia, Sarajevo and Mostar are the closest cities that are really worth visiting, especially Sarajevo. I am from there btw. If you like nature and hiking it is beautiful in both Montenegro and Bosnia. Enjoy your time in Balkans.

I’m going to Kotor for a week from 16th July. It looks amazing…if anyone from here is over there at the same time, please get in touch.
