We visited on Saturday night, our first time at a swingers’ club, and what a fine time we had…
The venue is in Noord Amsterdam, maybe a twenty minute walk from the free ferry dock at Buiksloterweg, a bit less from IJplein. We’re staying on that side anyway, so it was about a fifteen minute stroll.
€50 entry fee for a couple includes drinks up to that value, and if you have more then you pay the difference. That said, a Bacardi and was €7.50 + €4.00, so even after three drinks each we were paying an additional €19. No problem, we weren’t there for a boozy night, but it’s good to be aware of the prices.
The guy at reception welcomed us, told us the few rules with an emphasis on not having to tolerate any unwanted attention (everybody there seemed very respectful) and showed us to the locker room. Boxer shorts for men, though many kept a t-shirt or shirt too, and lingerie or clubwear for women.
After dressing down we entered the nightclub/bar area. Friendly bar staff, DJ, dance floor, plenty of space to sit or lounge about, couple of poles, massage table, and a buffet in a small area beyond the bar. It was not a busy night, as the reception guy explained later, but by no means empty. Maybe ten couples and a dozen single men.
After a drink we went to see the rest of the place - we hadn’t been offered a tour, perhaps because we’d arrived a couple of hours after opening. Some big beds, rooms that seemed to offer the privacy of a lockable door and curtains if you wanted them, or not, if you were the woman in the black bodystocking with the keen audience. We had trouble finding the darkroom, but I don’t think they’d turned off the lights by that point! There’s a smoking area upstairs. The pool/spa/hot-tub area is closed for refurbishment so we didn’t see those.
Nearly all of the shenanigans happened in the bar area, and being in a room with other people fucking was just as exciting as we’d hoped. There was no group activity or swapping that we noticed, but once the ice had been broken there was always something going on. Top marks to the couple who fucked here, there, and everywhere, and to the woman who selected some lucky single men to play with while her partner (and others, and us) watched from the sidelines. Oh, and to the tall TS/TV in the taller heels and red outfit who brought round nibbles from the buffet - we were too shy to say how impressive she was.
Would we go again? Yes please! We’re already discussing which clubs we should visit back in the UK, and we’ll come back to Amsterdam just as soon as we can. |
