Me and my wife are thinking of visiting Pattaya end of this year, early next year.

I have just returned from pattaya and it is inspiring to see so many places opening up after being closed for 2 years. The windmill is open and I believe the sapphire club is opening this weekend, also I believe the beer garden is open again great place for a relaxing meal before you venture to the naughtier spots

Yes! But leave by exit 3 for Soi Cowboy. If you go down the exit 2 steps, you’ll be on even side and heading in completely the wrong direction. Not ideal if you’re a newbie on a one-night stop-over in a Swampy hotel!

Milk: Offer her a drink, and food if possible, e.g. a plate of mixed chopped fruit. Not ice cream because many Easterners lose the ability to break down lactose, the main sugar in milk, by their late teens. It gives them the runs, like dysentery. This lack of milk in the diet is major cause of the high incidence of osteoporosis in Thailand.

There’s a post-op TS go-go bar in Nana Plaza. It’s called “Straps”, and you’ll find it up stairs, tucked into the corner on the left. You’ll think you’re in a katoey bar, but they’re all real girls now. If you go in, don’t mention katoey, ladyboy or anything about sex change. Just treat the dancers as normal women.

So many options in Pattaya. Lived in Pattaya for over a year just recently. From your post you might try a couple of Gentlmen clubs that tick off all of your boxes. The Cave (LK Metro) and Maggie Mays have a mix of girls and Ladyboys and you can get wild right in the bar by pulling a curtain around a couch.

On Soi Bukhao there is the Fantasy lounge across from Soi Honey. Newbar, Thaiger, and Whiskey Delerious Bar are well known Lady Boy bars. All of these places are within 2 blocks of each other.

I guarantee you, what you are looking for is easily available in Pattaya. Harder to arrange in Bangkok and Samui but possible.

Jealous as I have become obsessed with trying to figure out how to get back!

Yes. You also need health insurance cover.

Contact the Thai embassy in London for their take on the current entry requirements.

For single men: Thailand is NOT the current sex capital of the World. The red light districts are a very long way from normal operations.

I have been coming to Thailand for 20 years but I wouldn't class myself as an expert or even write a book

I do have knowledge of bkk-soi cowboy, nana, forget patong that died long before covid.

But I am sorry I cannot answer questions on lady boy bars as I don't frequent them.

I have a condo in pattaya and I firmly believe that things will be back to normal by the end of 2022 despite what the doom mongers say.

As of January 2020, Patpong was indeed on its last legs. However, there were still plenty of go-go bars there, especially those catering for Japanese clients. It also had one of the only two BDSM bars that I know of – “Bar-Bar” on Patpong 2.

The country is set to re-open fully if the toned-down 5-day Songkran holiday, which ends tomorrow, doesn’t produce an unexpected surge in Covid cases.

Tonight is the night of the first Full Moon Party at Haad Rin (on Koh Phangan in Surat Thani) since 8th February, 2020. OK, strict Covid rules will be enforced, and it will end at 23:00, but it’s a sign that things are gradually getting back to something like normal.

Fingers crossed for Christmas / New year.

We've been back from Thailand about 6 weeks. Miss it so much. As a couple in Pattaya we were more relaxed in bars/clubs as we wernt completely swamped with women. When we made things clear we were interested in girls we were not dissapointed. We stayed just off soi pothole/bukhao area which was the busiest area at the time.

Been here all through Covid and Pattaya seems to be coming back to life again.Soi Buakhaow/LK Metro busy every night,still my fave places.Never really struck on Walking Street,overpriced but a few decent bars. However still a lot of roadworks going on there.

Sois 6,7 and 8 seem to be getting livelier.

More of a buzz around town now with opening hours extended back to 2am.

Thailand Pass & extra COVID insurance dropped completely from 1st July but still need to bring vaccination proof or pay for test when you land here.

You can just get on a plane to come here now.

Don’t go until after 1st July, when the only requirement will be for you to show proof that you were vaccinated at least 14 days before you travelled, or have evidence of a Covid-19 test result.

Check the Thai embassy website on the day before you go in case there has been any change due to more virulent Covid mutations, etc.

Legally, everything is back to normal – facemasks generally not mandatory, bars, etc. allowed to stay open until 2am. But it will take time for the hotels and night-life to gear to cope with the gradual increase in the number of foreign visitors. It’s low season in Thailand until October-ish, and many tourist-related businesses have been closed for more than two years.

You probably already know, but other people my be interested in these two Bangkok BDSM bars.

BarBar is on Patpong 2. In January 20, the entrance cost was B950 (£24), and obligatory drinks cost B320 (£8) each. You’ll probably be expected to buy drinks for the “performers”, and maybe have to tip them. I’ve never been inside.

Demonia on Soi 33, which is all I know about it!

If you love the freedom to be nude at places like Cap and Gran Canaria then Thailand won’t be the holiday for you. Even going topless there is illegal (although I do) and swinging is also illegal! Prostitution is illegal also lol, in fact I could give you a list as long as your arm of all the “illegal” things in Thailand!

If you like the bar and gogo scene there is plenty of fun to be had but it’s rare you’ll have fun with a Thai girl for free! Personally not our scene but each to their own!

If you want to take guys back then you will have to go to boys town which is the gay area.however if you want to take a horny man back then just go to any gogo bar and you will find many men more than willing to participate in any scenarios you have in mind.

Boyztown is in Pattaya, on Soi 3, between Soi 13/4 and South Street. Jomtien Complex, just off Soi V.C. is cheaper.

In Bangkok, Soi Pratuchai, a walkway running between Surawong Road and Silom Road, was closed in April 2019, but some bars have relocated in the vicinity.
