I've booked for the first time.. Going end of April early May.

Been going out there for 18 years ... early May the pools And sea can be a bit cold but it is hot during the day it may get a little chilly in the evenings

Olu Deniz is lovely... you can also take a boat trip to fethiye and calis. Better shopping in Hisaronu than fethiye though.

Agree it will probably be too cold too swim early May ... but then you might not be a wimp like me. I swam in the pool mid May and couldn't feel my toes at all!

We have been to Marmaris ad love walking round the town but found the beaches mostly owned by hotels and sea dirty..where would you recommend in turkey for feee beaches and a nice town to stroll around at night , we intend to go end of June

I love Marmaris have booked for early June but yes beaches arnt great

Stayed in Kalkan about 8 years ago. To the best of our knowledge there isn't any adult clubs but there is Turkeys only nudist beach a 15/20 mins drive away.

It's called Patara Beach. When you walk down on to the beach, turn to your right and you have to walk approx 30-40 mins. I must warn you it's not a designated nudist beach as it is illegal to be nude (and topless also I think) but it is an unofficial place to bathe naked. Watch out for the single Turkish men who can be a little creepy sometimes

Go for turkish bath in your 1st day, it removes all dead skin and makes a fresh canvas for a tan. Defo helps tan better, just be sure to maybe shower after your out as they finish off putting an oil on to soak into the skin... but the sun loves it a bit too much for a first day or 2
