I spent 6months out there in 1980 with the army loved every minute of it try and get to the cayes caulker or ambergris really nice places

"Be careful. Belize has one of the highest per capita murder rates in the world."

It’s very safe apart from a couple of areas in Belize city where there are drug wars. Every where else is very good. San Ignacio is great for underground rivers and adventure etc. Ambergris Caye for chill out, sailing, diving.
