"How was the testing programme in Barbados, I hear it is very slow and expensive?" Not at all. We are there now. You need a PCR test 3 days before departure. Then on arrival you get a free PCR test at the airport and given a wristband then have to quarantine in hotel. Each is different, but we stayed in the Hilton on arrival and you could use the pool etc just not the beach or leave the hotel. Our results came back two days later. Some people had theirs back next day. Once the negative test comes back you are free to use the beach and leave the hotel. -Matt

It depends on the AirBnB. Some are registered as quarantine venues, some (most) are not. If you Google “barbados covid travel protocol” you should find a pdf on the visitbarbados site that details the travel protocol and at the end lists all the hotels and residences that are quarantine-approved. Also bear in mind if you are not fully vaccinated, you will be quarantining for a lot longer. -Matt
