I was there several years ago, based in Kyrenia. The harbour there is the most photographed harbour in the whole of Cyprus and very well worth taking one of the numerous boat trips out which go out for a day.

The area has few beaches, except over to the further Eastern parts of N Cyprus However, going west of Kyrenia by only a few km's, there are bigger hotels, which have their own beach clubs, where tourists can pay a reasonable fee and have all day access to a beach, and/or a pool along with Food & Drink facilities.

Thank you for that information. - very useful. I believe that it’s possible to go East along the peninsular and there are many deserted beaches, but the roads are quite rough.

Lots of smaller beaches along the north coast and yes, the Karpas penisula on east side offers some quiet beaches. Goldern beach near the end of the penisula has several KMs of beach which was a semi official nudist beach at one time and is still a favorate for nude swimming. We had sex there many times. Lots of small beaches with bad access where u can have sex and you will find guys to join u if u want.
