Istanbul / Turkey

We are planning to camp from Antalya Finike to Didim. But we havent decided the route yet.

We did from Asos to Kusadasi last year. It was absolutely funny. We discovered very nice coves and met couples

I visit Didim almost every year.. is there much of a swinging scene there? Most of the fun was at Medusa or at the beach by the newish venosa!

Marmaris is over priced and overly busy, stayed there once, never again. Better off staying in the neighbouring village of Ichmeler. Must nicer, relaxed, loads of bars and restaurants, but a lot less hustle than marmaris!

I recommend that you use Google or TripAdvisor and do your own research for resorts. Every country that gets mentioned its the same question from you.

As far as I know Judith Chalmers isn't on this site.

Are you waiting for the July 15th announcement to see if it comes off the red list ?

I’m waiting as I was supposed to be going 24th Aug so see what happens on Thursday. Otherwise going to book elsewhere

TURKEY Antalya

"By the time they allow travel to Turkey the weather wont be very warm. "

It is between 29-34 daytime and 21-25 degree at night in Antalya until 1st of October. I think good enough. Hope september will be the same level.

"does being off the red list mean no tests? soz im a bit thick"

You need a test to go to Turkey from uk. And depends when you go and if vaccinated for the other tests

If you are double jabbed you don't need a test to go. Just proof of vaccination

All you need to get out here is a PCR test within 72 hours of arrival and to fill out the Turkish government passenger locator form

"If you are double jabbed you don't need a test to go. Just proof of vaccination"

My mistake. This applies for most countries but coming from UK you need a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure
