We are thinking of booking Temptations for late 2021 to avoid any COVID disappointment.

I can see there is plenty of recommendations on here for Temptations but what is it like in the way of swinging, is it a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere but the option is there if you want to?

From what I have read there seems to be fun later in the evenings/nights at certain areas of the hotel?

It would be our first 'adult' holiday and the other half doesn't want to jump right in at the deep end but would be willing to play if the vide/people/time is right

Temptations is a very relaxed atmosphere regards swinging. It’s not predominantly a swinging hotel it’s more of a party resort. Plenty of singles there also etc. I would recommend also looking at Desire instead. This is much more lifestyle orientated. So the options to play there are far better. You can also just do nothing and just enjoy being in the sexually charged atmosphere that the resort creates. Last time we were there we met a couple who had never swung and were just considering it all. We had dinner with them one night and spent some time on the beach with them but never did they dip their toe but I know they still had a great time.

We have been to Temptation about 16 times in last 10 years, we were supposed to go for Xmas but moved it to May as more chance of happening, not much more. It is a party hotel that raises the sexual tension with sexy games, porn on tv... we got lucky a few times but by no means is it guaranteed, any sexual behaviour in public will get you into trouble, nothing heavy is allowed in public and even nudity in the games is curbed now. If you are looking for a great holiday where everybody is friendly and as most people describe it as spring break for older crowd every day, go for it, yes Desire is better, but over twice price.
