We love going to nudist/naturist spas - We love getting naked and love the atmosphere...

When it’s safe to do so, we’d love to plan a trip to try a new one!!

Where are the best spas (worldwide) to get your kit off & chill???

there are 2 main spa's in the town. The older style one 'Friedrichsbad' and the more modern one (which we use and has the adult nude section upstairs) Caracalla Therme Hope this helps

Costa Blanca Spain...

These kind of Spa's are pretty much everywhere in Germany.

For our local favourite just pop "Maritimo Recklinghausen" into google. But there are dozens more in the area.

Yes, couldn’t agree more. Germany has the best ones. Baden Baden is super. Stuttgart also has a really good one at SI Centrum called SchwabenQuellen. Just don’t go on the first Saturday of the month, that’s the only mandatory swim suit day they have.

Thank you - This one looks great! And not too far from Holland either which we love!! Do you know, are there set days for nudity? Is this spa adult only? I can see some pictures on their website which show a family friendly vibe but not sure if that’s a different facility from the one you mentioned. We prefer adult only!

I’m trying to find translation for the website but not having much luck!

Thank you!! Will definitely check all of these suggestions out! It’s looking like Germany has a lot of options for us!

For translation use google chrome as your browser then right click and select translate.

Maritimo is in 2 halves one being a public swimming bath and the other the FKK (Freikörperkultur German for naturist) spa.

It's a few months since we last went but it was always FKK every day.

It isn't adult only but you don't see that many families there, especially midweek.

It has extensive gardens with a beach area, 3 heated outdoor pools (one saltwater) and 5 outdoor sauna's.

Indoors it has sauna's, steam room, starlight pool (with underwater music) Jacuzzi, restaurant, and lots of chill and relax areas.

"Berlin has some great naturist spas. "

We went to Liquidrom in December last year - it was fine, but, we weren’t overly too impressed with the facilities. We had a nice relaxing time but it was pretty short lived. We stayed way less than we had planned. And also, swimwear was optional so I think for some guests, there was an uncertainty as to when to be nude.

That is a good point.

German naturist Spa's are naturist, nothing else. Any kind of sexual contact will get you, at best, thrown out, at worst, arrested.

Yep, we are aware and respectful of this - We are purely interested in the naturist vibe when we visit spas... Our relaxation time!! We go to swingers clubs when it’s time to play!

The best one I've been to so far was Vabali in Berlin.

It's huge and once inside you'll feel like you're actually in Bali.

I went during the German Fetish Week. But it's always well visited.

So is Therme Erding adult only? It seems they have family passes and water slides etc? Is it just the spa area that is clothes optional?

What about the Berlin one? Is this adult only and clothes optional?

Thanks

Thermen Badwelt in Sinsheim is excellent..it has a fully naked swim up bar sunken in the middle of the pool, where hundreds of locals frequent on a Friday evening after work...best after-work drinks atmosphere I've ever encountered! Strictly naturist...night time fun can be had in the excellent Feur and Eis club 45 minutes away.

Schwauben Quellen in Stuttgart is another excellent naturist spa, and is attached to the Dormero Hotel. The spa is very extensive and well equipped with a bar and restaurant, and it is easy to spend a full day in there. I think it can handle around 800~1000 people.

Night time adult fun can alo be had at the 'Feur & Eis' adult club...again around 45mins from the spa/hotel complex

Amsterdam

Just back from a weekend at the thermen at Bad Nieuweschans. It is a spa and hotel located in the north right by the German border- about 2.5hrs drive from Schiphol airport And there is also a train connection. Very nice venue. The hotel is relatively small and there is a direct connection to the spa like in thermen busloo which is my minimum requirement. The spa has 2 parts- with swimwear for thermal baths and naked for the saunas. Within the sauna side, there are indoor and outdoor areas with a great restaurant beside a place to get some sun. They have a variety of saunas and a large outdoor pool. Everybody is obliged to wear flip flops and as a hotel guest they provide towels and bathrobe to use in communal areas and restaurant. Because of covid controls there were max number of people allowed into each sauna and it was posted on the door. For the pools, they had individual trays to put your flip flops and if they were full you had to wait.

The food and drinks were top notch premium quality - good Dutch Belgian beers and high quality wine- a large glass was 5 euro. The staff were excellent and spoke all 3 languages fluently. The type of people there were a mixed bag- some young 20 s right up to 70s but the average was around 35-45. There were some singles there too.

Regarding price I paid 200euro per night which included the room for 2 people, an excellent breakfast, spa access and a 3 Course surprise menu every evening- all drinks were extra but were reasonably priced.
