"We went to a club, we decided we would go and NOT do anything, but just meet some people and speak to some people and have some fun on our own.
This way there was NO pressure on either of us, we weren't just stuck with one person, so there was no awakard situations and so on. We went somewhere where we could dance and have fun.
If your going to try that route, then you want a club that is friendly and where you will not feel awakard and comfortable.
Clubs we would recommend for first timers are:
Ourplace4fun ( Most friendly club in London, its really small, but its great, superb owners as well)
Atlantis, stoke on trent - awesome place to dance and also super friendly.
Liberty Elite, Rugby - superb, high end club, classy, bit more pricey than most, you get what you pay for.
Vanilla Alternative - Bedford, very similar to Liberty.
Abfabs - great facilities, good friendly helpful staff, lots to do there, even on your own.
There's nothing wrong with meeting people 121 either, and plenty of people are comfortable and confident enough to go that route, but this way you can observe what goes on and just get an idea of what's out there, it also gives you more of a wider view.
We would also suggest you go for a couples only night, normally Saturdays, though Ourplace4fun have theirs on the first Thursday of the month but there Saturdays (which are mixed) are not overun with single men."
I'd add Xtasia in West Brom to that list as it's a clothed club with bar and dancefloor. If i was going for the first time as a couple I'd go on a party night as there will be more people in than on a general night. |
