If your profile description is empty how do you think people can engage in a conversation?

East lerds

Saw the following contents on a profile

Not meeting but happy to chat.

If I delete your message, you’re not for me.

Avoid the following:

How are you?

What you up to today?

How are you feeling?

Had enough of being stuck indoors yet?

Instant delete.

That is it

If there is nothing else on your profile how do you expect people to engage in a conversation with nothing to work with?

Maybe don't bother and find someone else. Some people may be deliberately avoiding conversation with anyone who can't conjure one out of thin air

I find, being a female, that whatever is or isn't on your price doesn't matter one bloody bit, with most blokes and a fair few ladies and couples... Alot just look at the pics and message...

I instantly block anyone that looks at us if they've got a 2 line profile and a black silhouette as a profile picture. I personally need to be able to engage with someone, to form some sort of connection with them. My thoughts are if you can't be bothered to make an effort to stand out in this very overcrowded marketplace then you're simply not worth my time or efforts.

Aberdeen, Leeds, Sheffield

Very true - and reminds me I've had a couple of people say I should have a pic of me as my profile pic, which is a black and white profile of... Me! I thought it was arty, and better than a cock shot, just can't win sometimes!

I do tend to skip over profiles that are blank, or worse the ones with a lot of words but that say nothing much. I do try and respond to the profile as much as possible, where its relevant, in the often vain hope I might stand out from the sea of 'u wnt 2 fk' messages...

No pictures means they probably shouldn’t be here to

I have shut my profile off and got rid of a profile picture to deter new messagers... It doesn't!
