I think a lot of men have always had a bit of curiosity. I'm nearly 60 now and even going back to when I was in my early teens there were places where men went and did what they had to do with other men. There used to be a joke in the gay community, “What’s the difference between a gay guy and a straight guy?

In reality I think many people fall somewhere on the bi spectrum with a few people totally straight and a few totally gay.

The fact that men are much more comfortable talking about stuff about feelings and touching each other in non sexual ways eg hugging, these were things that guys didn’t really do 20-30 years ago, at least not in public.

Being gay was a real taboo some yang that is hard to imagine now. So for guys who might be somewhere on that hi spectrum it was easier and more socially acceptable to repress that side of themselves.

Fast forward to today. We are all much more comfortable with sexuality and due to cinema television etc we are more open to different kinds of relationships.

to us, soft play means anything goes but penetrative intercourse.

A lot of straight men , haven’t always been as straight , lots used to go to public toilets , cruise parks late at night etc , but times have changed more now, some think they can be truthful and say yeh I’m bi , there’s still lots out there who hide behind the straight label through fear , like the fab straights on here
