Hi all why are people asking for refunds, I know times are hard but it is so cheap should we not try and support it, I understand if your membership is due and cannot afford it but not a refund

I hope the generosity the site has shown in offering refunds is repaid in spades by loyal when this is all over.

Out of interest, the company that's organised my daughter's clinical placement in Zambia as part of her final year nursing degree have refused to refund her £350 deposit. She can't go cos she's volunteered to be on the front line.

For me, allowing everyone to have one off upgrades on the house would be better than refunds. I understand the site still has to make enough money to stay running.

But, thinking outside the box that could well lead to people re-subscribing when they may not normally

It's £5 a month!

Are you really that skint? And what are you not getting from the site that should result in you getting a refund?

Just to be ckear, I will not be asking for a refund as I wish the site all the best for the future.

Nope. Much less than that. It’s a fiver for about 90 days silver membership. Given that membership does not equate meets then I see no reason to offer a refund so it’s a generous offer from the site. I won’t be requesting one. Sites cost money to run and I like watching the guys naughty vids

It's cheaper than a large glass of wine down the pub

I'd be mortified to ask for a refund for the loss of a free area of the site.

Why? £5 for 3 months isn't much at all.

Shame them publically, on Twitter and on the book of faces....... Watch how quickly they refund her when they get toxic publicity!

Personally I think its worth every penny..I'd even go so far as to say I'd pay a little extra if it meant this great site kept running

Maybe they should introduce a one-off lifetime membership, along the lines of another well known swinger site we are members of.... we'd pay the £200.

I made a thread asking for help on getting a refund. People got so overly sensitive when I decided I wanted MY money back. Then started making assumptions over what experiences I’ve had on this site lol literally didn’t ask.

It may “just be £5” but It always adds up if you continue to pay. I’m pretty sure fab will still be up and running with the few that want a refund. If it was that bad, fab wouldn’t have so kindly made it an option.

I don’t see the point of a refund and I’ll be renewing my membership when it expires

This!

Also, it’s more important than ever to support the businesses that you want to be around in the future.

They haven't limited or failed to supply you with the service you paid for, as I said before, these are great filter threads.

One off upgrades on the house? Bit extreme. They stop you being able to meet and you want some new patio doors from them?

Ask yourself this....

Is your regular pub offering you a refund on the beer that you aren’t now drinking?

There’s tight and then there’s folk on Fab.

Unreal.

You're on here right now, I bet you've used the site supporter features since the lockdown.

Also I keep seeing people say “it’s just £5”

Ok but it all adds up in the end??? Be it £25 or £50 I’m still getting what I paid for back. Simple maths guys.

Most of the people complaining about others wanting refunds should direct that energy at users who are using it for free because they haven’t paid a dime with that logic.

This site isn’t going nowhere anytime soon.

Let people do what they want with their money it’s really not that deep.

Imagine whining over someone else’s experiences that you can’t relate with yikes
