Hi, just a thought, has anyone thrown the word fab into a conversation at work with customers or workmates ??

Have done this a few times just to see if i get any reaction

Yeah! use the word all the time, sadly the only reaction I have had so far is from Thunderbirds followers

Never used to - but have been doing it a lot recently! Not necessarily at work, but if i'm in a bar, shop or supermarket i do find myself sometimes looking for an excuse to drop it into a sentence - usually have a fab weekend!" or something similar - particularly if the barmaid/shop assistant is cute!

Lol, we do it all the time! Having said that we get all paranoid when certain people say it back - seemingly emphasising the word and using it out of context! Often think we have been rumbled as we have one or two 'friends' whp are a little too close for comfort

Not used the Fab word but my deputy at work has mentioned swinging to me a few times when referring to one of my gay staff at work. The gay guy is very promiscuous but thinks swinging is immoral! She must have mentioned this too me at lease half a dozen times and I do wonder if she is after a reaction but she's probably the last person in the world I would expect to find on here unless she knows someone I do!

As for popping the word FAB into conversations, yeah I regularly do it to amuse myself laughing on the inside, but still haven't found anyone bite ... Don't know what I'd do if they did tho LOL
