Nipple piercings increase sesitivity?

A lot of the lovely women on here have nipple piercings. I've always wondered, is it true that piercings increase nipple sensitivity? I've read about this online but I'm not sure if it's just a myth!

For some people yes. I had mine done but it was too sensitive, I had to take it out.

I had one done and lost sensitivity in the nipple which is why I never got the other done and dont have anything in the one that was done. The sensitivity is coming back to it though

I've had mine done twice in the past and they didn't change my nipple sensitivity.

I had mine done but it made it less sensitive, then whist I was playing football it got pulled and I lost half my Nipple , so now I have one flat nipple and one bullet

I've been told to go rougher on the pierced one before now so this certainly tallies with my experience.

this is what worries me! I really want to get mine done but the idea that I might loose sensation?!

I had read it could go either way. My nipples were not naturally overly sensitive though which is why I decided I didn’t have a lot to lose. Since piercing they are uber sensitive, sometimes have to ask people to be gentler. But I’m very happy with how they look and feel now.

The female half got them done but they became so sensitive they became painful (and not in a good way) to touch. Removed them because of it.

Only had them both done 6 weeks ago, were super sensitive first week after being done but now, I don't think they are any different but then again they haven't had much opportunity to be played with, have to be careful for first few months, love them and don't regret it.

Had one of mine done several years ago and took it out after 4 months as it kept getting caught on my cycling shorts. Caused it had healed up I had the same nipple done again two years ago and once healed replaced the original jewellery with a bar more suited to the size of my nipple and not had any issues since.

Can anyone really compare the sensitivity of a woman’s nipple to a mans?

Women’s are there for a natural purpose and have surely different sensitivities.

Men’s are just “ cosmetic “

Does she want her nipples pierced?

Because I can tell you this, if my husband arranged a 'surprise' piercing that I didn't want... I wouldn't be getting the piercing and I'm not sure he'd have a wife any more.

If her sex drive has gone... TALK TO HER... Seek counseling, get medical advice/help, help her feel sexy again post menopause... Don't push her into a none consentual piercing to make her more inclined to sex, you'll do the opposite.

Mine aren't sensitive at all, feels like a guy tuning a radio if they play with them

I'm interested to find out if piercing would increase the sensitivity....one to add to my list....

I've read somewhere that as a man, your nipples may get more sensitive due to a fall in testosterone levels
