tried a few cock rings some aren't so tight and some I've tried have actually stopped me cumming inside until i take it of. is the idea of cock rings to keep an erection or to also prevent cumming inside?

If it stopped you cumming it was too tight.

They help keep you hard and help to delay cumming.

Too tight and they become uncomfortable.

Your not supposed to wear them for more than half an hour when erect.

You can keep it on when flaccid
