Have you ever had someone just chicken out on you? I was messaging a young guy last night and we agreed to meet tonight so phone numbers were exchanged. It was all very amicable then he suddenly blocked me! What? He was very young admittedly but why couldn't he just say he'd changed his mind?

I agree. The least he could have done was ring you and said,

'I feel like chikening tonight, chikening tonight, chikening tonight!'

I had a similar thing happen to me.

I had been messaging a guy for ages and we swapped numbers and were texting. We arranged to meet and 15 minutes before ho texted to say he'd be a little late......so late I'd still be waiting!!!

I wish he'd just let me know that he'd changed his mind rather than leave me standing on a dark road, alone at night. What a wally!!

Perhaps he was fake -

I had something similar the other week - although I don't believe she was fake because I'd seen her on cam in the chatroon - at least her body anyway (am I being naive here? - although this user went a bit further and deleted her profile - didn't realise I had that effect on people lol

The thought is sometimes far more alluring than actually meeting for some people

It just makes you feel like you've been led up the garden path. It's so uneccesary. We've all made our excuses from time to time but to have all that banter then blocked or doesn't turn up! At least I found out before I'd actually left home!

I've had it happen - but you got to respect her, some people can emotionally deal with recreational and relative immediacy of the sex and others can't.

Just a tip - don't book the hotel before you know she can deal with it! lol D'oh!

I agree. I didn't want to tar all young guys with the same brush but I think older guys are more reliable.

Find that there are loads of fake profiles on here do this, three weeks a woman contacted us saying how much she likes us and wanted to meet, spoke to to her online and on the phone and agreed to meet in a bar, then came the radio silence since then till now. She's still putting up post asking for meeting. What cheek!

Just wondering if it was the same young guy that did exactly the same to us. We don't normally meet guys under the age of 35, but from the pics and the chat, decided to give him a break and agreed to meet. Should have known better really, he is now on our block list.. and we really won't meet younger from now on, regardless how mature they come across

Not being funny but why on earth would you agree to meet a total stranger on a dark road?!! Are you nuts?!!

You have a fair point Miss_Tress but it was dark because it was 8pm in December not because it was lonely. On the contrary, it was a busy road; I'm not that daft!

It's happened to us in the past too. Young guy, very keen, wanted to come over to our hotel and all the arrangements were made and then it all went quiet..... Oh well, move on.

Possibly - very young, got all excited about the meet, had a quick tug so he didn't fire off any warning shots the second he arrived - but then his mum wouldn't drive him as he's not tidied his room and he had no bus fare?

Its an occupational hazard on here some people like the idea and then seem to get nervous which is a shame but at the end of the day he was the one who missed out on having a great meet with you. I tend to look at verifications as well as they would show if people had turned up to meets xx

I had a group meet arranged with three guys i'd played with before coming, two that i'd met for coffee and one who i hadn't met at all. it ended up with just me and the three i already knew.

three profiles were gone the following day.

ffs who meets for coffee then pesters for a group meet and doesn't show??

Quite a lot of single men, by the sound of it. Just one more thing spoiling it for the rest of us.
