just had a couple look at our profile, viewed theirs to find the only words 'will fill in later'. Last Login:Online Now. Joined: Over a year ago!!

And folks wonder why they never get a meet....lol

Said couple from Lanarkshire, Scotland, but obviously cannot name them.

It beggars belief!

Most single guys don't read them anyway... Intend to though just to get a sense of whether I'm interested or not, therefore 'will fill in later' is unhelpful at best

I echo other sentiments, not only do they either have little or no waffle but funnily enough they cannot accommodate either, are straight yet have a long list of friends that are TV's??

A lot of assumptions made here from someone just looking at someones profile

How do you know they never get a meet if all they have on their profile is will fill in later?

If something so small makes you "beggar belief" then you're going to get irritated a hell of a lot on here

No, we don't get irritated, just wondered if others shared the same sentiment. Being a member for over a year and still not bothered with any profile, to us thus reads as lazy, male pretenders, who just browse pics. We will be judgmental because it is our perception. Perception has no right or wrong.

Just as well all our verifications are from blind people that can't tell that the couple they met was only a lazy, single male pretender trying to look at their pictures.

There are plenty of reasons why people don't fill in profiles - maybe they manage quite well without them.

Being judgemental doesn't actually make you right.

No, but saying ' will fill in later' and then not filling one in after a year is a little suspicious. Why the need to lie, by saying a profile will be provided, when clearly they have no intention if doing so?....We just think, if they arranged to meet us, they would show the same discourtesy and not turn up.

All very well not having a profile and taking your chances, but to say your going to provide one and then not do so after more than a year makes us think they/he/she is a liar,fake and not worthy of any correspondence yet alone arranging to meet.

Be careful with threads like this. I had a status removed and a less than pleased message from the admin for 'getting at someone' in it for saying someone had copied my entire profile. The status wasn't abusive (it was quite funny I thought!) and it didn't give any indication as to who had done it, yet I'm the one who got in trouble.

I can't find where 'getting at' people in general is in the terms and conditions but it puts pretty much everyone in the forums in the red zone!
