Most people understand the simple concept of variability, especially that of temperature. So-called 'cold' blooded animals have a variable body temperature, hence the 'poikilo' part of their name, poikilothermic - variable temperature, in essence, as likely learned in primary school. You can meet them when it's hot op and you'll be happy
