I've had a few messages from "Couples" on here. "The wife wants to do all sorts of things - would I be interested?" kind of thing...

May well catch plenty of people out, but it'd make us feel really strange being told to do that. My wife wouldn't like that at all. Naturally it'll depend massively on how the rest of any talk has gone before you'd do that though, and I've no idea how you prefer that to go!

I admit I do that. It feels the right thing to do, and if they choose not to send a message, then that's fine. Always need to be careful of presuming other people use and evaluate these tools the same way you do - a mutual wink is a very useful starting poing, but outside of that I do feel most guys should be the ones making the initial effort. Maybe that's unfair, I do think about that at the time.

If say, I seen you on a forum & I liked the look - of course I’d reach out and send a message. As, well it’s me looking to engage.

It does get annoying - as every male will more or less write out a message & it’ll be deleted straight away...

Or even more annoying is them straight sending through a friend request - like what even are you after!? We could be looking for the completely opposite things - or are you just tryna be nosey?

Well in my defense we always reply to decent messages, and never send inappropriate friend requests. But like some single guys ruin for others, same for couples and women too!

Have you ever heard the term ‘incel’ before? I believe a lot of single men on this site fit that category...

Well, maybe not a lot. But a good few - I’ve had very minimal bad experiences chatting to women & couples. But, in comparison to some of my female friends on the site - they just get straight abuse daily!

And all it takes is 1 male to ruin it...
