Absolutely honest answer, if we're talking purely penetrative sex (as suggested in the OP) then I'm distinctly below average most of the time, but it's partly down to connection and chemistry (as has been suggested), partly down to confidence and being relaxed etc and other factors too.

But for me sex is majorly about the whole package, not just a single aspect of it, and if we're talking the whole package, then my self-perception changes completely as I know I'm open minded, uninhibited, respectful, considerate, take pleasure from giving pleasure, like to go with the flow and various other qualities that all add up to a good time for all concerned.

The thing is, a lot of guys get hung up on penetrative sex, and think that is all there is to it, feeling like they have somehow failed if they don't last long or haven't bought a partner to orgasm that way and yes *some* women can make them feel that way too - but with the right connection and chemistry in place, along with understanding and consideration on both sides, it doesn't *have* to be all about the penetration.

Absolute truth, I’m out of practice and the reasons for that have hit my confidence so now I overthink, worry too much and that’s even worse. Missed my prime I think.

Having said all that though, with 7Bn people on the planet the perfect match is clearly nonsense so there’s fun to be had through diversity of experiences.

One thing which sticks in my memory is a gorgeous lady who I’d known since I was in my teens.
