My Dom has a significant birthday approaching.. I want to get him an antique / 2nd hand spanking implement

It can't be leather (I'm vegan

).. So perhaps metal or wood??

Where on earth would i look (ebay??) and what would i search for??

.. And then if any Doms could let me know if this is a potentially disastrous thing for a sub to do
