why do people say my BF is the lucky guy

gets a lot of messages from people saying my bf is the lucky guy. just like to say no he is not im the lucky one. we do have a normal life away from here . he is fun easy to get on with and we both get to do what we want and im not talking sex. do many women on here get the same messages as me

The comments are probably just veiled compliments. No one knows either of you on here in the same way you know each other. What you’ve written about him is lovely and I’m sure he feels the same, so I stand by my original comment.

Don't think it has anything to do with your life away from here. Most don't think about that. They're just complimenting your looks. I've had some women tell me I'm the lucky one. Very superficial, but I like those comments. They're confidence-builders.

Sorry while I don't doubt that's true, some of us simply like handing out compliments!

I often message people saying if I enjoyed their pics. I'm not looking to get in their pants, I just appreciate those that make an effort. Sometimes those I messaged reply, more often than not they don't.

I think guys way of thinking is that women like a compliment

I get this on my single and couples account and it doesn’t really bother me or my bf

At least it’s better than some of the messages that get sent to a couples accounts totally disregarding the fact they are a couple at all

They are only paying a compliment. We get it too. It's probably their way of saying they wish they can get a woman like us, hence 'he's a lucky guy'. That's all. Just thank them politely and move on.
