I'm afraid timewasters exist in every type or at least proclaimed type, and being a bull is no different. Thankfully I've yet to meet a single timewaster from here

I class myself as a switch as I adore being a bull but by no means is it the only string to my bow...why pigeonhole yourself and miss out on lots of fun?

There are loads of reasons why a meet progesses no further than a drink

The effort was made to meet you both,it could well be that hes busy,people do have lives out of here

It could also be that he did'nt think that you're all a compatable match and does'nt want to appear rude by telling you that so is putting you off in a different way

I would'nt call him a timewaster though

This thread and the replies do raise a question that intrigues me... if you met someone for a social meet but felt you didn't get on but the other person/s obviously did, would you tell them up front that you weren't interested in taking things further or would you be more inclined to make excuses in an effort to let them down gently?

On my part I'd let them know, simply because that's the more polite way of doing things in my view, but I can understand why some people wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

it depends on whether they realized it or not...if they got that i wasnt interested then i wouldn't say anything...if they got pushy then i might, but if i felt intimidated then i might just make an excuse to leave.

Its never easy as I don't believe that anyone wants to upset someone else,especially when one is more keen than the other and you don't want to come across as arrogant or rude

I would treat people the same I would expect top be treated myself and that would be with kind respect and id let them know instead of leading them on
