Would there be any interest in this? I am a fully qualified beauty and holistic therapist and wondering if I could use my skills and a spare room to offer lessons and treatments. Also what would you like to see on the list of treatments?

For example, make up, Waxing, lash and brow tinting etc. This is open to all genders.

I'd be surprised if you get a poor response. I'm a part time CD and been so for many years. Eye makeup has always been a problem for me and some help would be fantastic. Especially from someone like yourself.

Thank you, if I'm ever in your area I will but sadly I think it's unlikely as your so far away. But good luck, I'm sure it's going to be a success.

I'm actually surprised that no one does this already, YouTube is great, but sometimes better if in person and step by step. X

I've had a few requests for this recently via pm too, which got me thinking of offering this.

A friend of mine looked into doing make up sessions for cds and there are a few pitfalls you might need to think about.

Myself I'd love it, I would love to have my eyebrows shaped properly but not too far away from my male side that its heavily noticeable and lessons with eyeliner and false lashes would be amazing.

I'm down your way in may of you want a willing subject

I’d love to get YouTube help on it, I don’t understand make up and would like to do more for myself.

I'm not thinking of going mobile to do this as I have a spare room at home which I can use for this and to make my jewellery in as well. X

Depending on where you live there are quite a number of people that offer make-up tuition and makeovers but this varies drastically throughout the UK. A lot of them are listed on a popular dedicated website for TVs that I don't know if I'm allowed to name on here. But it's definitely a service that will always be popular.

The main difference between doing make-up for women over make-up for TVs is understanding how to apply or blend foundations to hide the 5 o'clock shadow. There are quite a number of tips and tricks for this that wouldn't be necessary when applying make-up to a woman's face.

Good luck with it OP, it'll definitely be of big interest to many in your area.

This is a great idea! I know there are quite a few people that would be interested in a safe and understanding place to learn these techniques.

Lol OK. I haven't heard of anyone doing this locally to me, a couple of salons offer male waxing, but that's about it.

Perhaps you could teach others, I mean run some classes on basic makeup and possibly hair removal for the less knowledgeable, I know that I for one would be more than interested although time and distance may be a problem.
