Stalking is not cool!!! What do I do??

I had another profile on another site that I no longer use but had a guy messaged me on here repeatedly on their repeatedly too an now just tried to add me on Facebook ! Anyone else had any extreme things like this?

I never once told him my proper name yet he managed to find me I'm slightly freaked out I've blocked him everywhere but he knows where i go to the gym from using the chat I'm really wary of him now not happy!!

to be fair.....you have to be very carefull in chat what info you say about yourself.....no offence intended.....but you need to be very carefull....

Stalking is a criminal offence now....call police they can track him and deal with it x

Strikes me that there are only two courses of action. Either ignore him and tough it out, or report it to the police! Short of magic I can't see any other way.

to be honest ive never really had any problems in the internet with guys getting pushy or stalking, ive had a few who i have met get a little clingy but never on here

I think my pics scare them off you can borrow one to put on your profile if you like

also if anything has happened on fabs report his profile....they cannot deal with whats happened outside fabs but can with whats on fabs

With facebook I have had some people you might know on there with same pics as the ones they use on fab. I aam not sure if thins can be linked etc. You did the right thing by blocking though... Just make sure he don't turn up at the gym...

Trouble is the police dont always take it seriously in my experience. Have you chatted via msn or any other messenger that might be linked to your facebook acc, cos thats such an easy way to find people? If so, i suggest you report that email acc as compromised and get two new ones, one for general use, and one for swinging/msn, it wd stop it happening again, and in the meantime report as harrassment to each site and block him all round. Good luck x

Although he's already "found" you on Facebook, you can filter oin there too - just like here, you can prevent anyone searching on the internet for you. just click on "hide" on the "search engine" bit in privacy in both Facebook and Fabs - just for future.

Did you swap email addresses with him? Because again he can find you on FB thru that!

Hey no i didnt share my real name, msn, email number or anything with him I told him nothing that's why I'm so spooked he found me also I don't use the same photos anywhere I don't even have face pics on here

It's the first bad experience so far on here x

Yeah but is it tho as he may state different you see so its a catch 22 and can of worms that can be a pain in the arse to open without a tin opener with all label on the tin to read from

Tell him your family is from Italy and they get through a lot of horses or to go the whole hog meet him at a hotel tie him to the bed produce a pair of bolt cutters and warn him sure the last thing on his mind will be sex it will shrivel and hide so quick lol

I can only think the individual concerned has traced your IP address on your PC and may have some knowledge of your social activities gleaned from the chatrooms etc. I can only suggest that you log each and every contact with this individual and make it abundantly plain that in Scotland there is now a specific criminal offence of cyber-stalking.

Whilst possible i dont think you are aware of just how many details people give away of their lives online...i am constantly amazed of how much ppl say in chat.

The hard part though is how these sick individuals inhibit their victims and force them to literally hide from the world. Curiousnuby, I adore seeing you on cam and so do lots of others. You are young and attractive and also friendly towards all the daft guys who proposition you constantly - and you will be sadly missed if you let this jerkoff force you to hide.

So my advice to you is share it online. Every contact, every comment, every action of this individual should be publicly exposed.

You have lots and lots of friends on this site so gather them about you and shame this twat into crawling back under his stone.

If the guy has messaged you on here then report to admin. Have a word with the police nothing like a visit from them to squash someone into good behaviour.

Even if they donot do anything, at least his name appears on their files for future reference. If he persists in upsetting others.

Central Police have a cyber unit that deals with this type of crime

our daughter was stalked a few yrs ago........ we went to police and boy did they come down hard on him... he had one warning and one only..... stopped it st8 away..... good luck hope you get it sorted xxx
