"So as some of you will have seen on my status, I get lots of offers from "straight" men who want to suck my dick. Now before everyone says I can stop guy from messaging, why should I have to? I have some good friends on here, and doing so would affect them messaging me. So my questions are A- why say your straight when you're clearly bi, B- why messaged someone when the profile says straight and not interested in men. " Why would it bother you so, is it stressing you out ? Ruining your day to day life ? Thinking you may give in ?

Feel most sorry for the unsuspecting women/couples that don’t want to meet Bi guys that these ‘straight’ men are messaging after sucking cock Basically a lot of guys on here have no respect for people’s preferences and will do or say whatever it takes to get a meet.

"Change your profile pic. They might not click then" Always the right advice to a dick pic as a profile pic. As much as they have a place in an album, they have nooooo place as your main photo.

"Not that it should make difference in this day and age, but there’s a pretty big grey spectrum between 100% straight through 100% bisexual to 100% gay. Where each on finishes and another starts is up to each individual to decide. " Couldn’t agree more - well said!

"I get loads of messages from "straight" men on here. A good percentage of them are also on fabguys too and listed as bi. I won't meet anyone that is listed as straight because I don't like dishonesty but they always say one of two things "I am bi really but it puts women and couples off if I list myself as bi" or "I can't put myself as bi because I have friends on here" " I agree, if someone is dishonest, saying straight, but meeting other men, however stunning they look when dressed as a lady, who knows what else they are lying about. And if your friends would judge you for your sexual preferences, are they really your friends? I'm so much happier having come out as bisexual to most of my real friends. Not everyone, but then I don't discuss sex with all my friends.

"Because there is a huge amount of homophobia around these parts and a man with bi-curious / bisexual on his profile will be deemed disgusting by many women / couples. Isn't that just common knowledge? Am I missing something?" While I don't disagree that homophobia exists here, nor do I disagree that there is a long way to go before bisexual males are as accepted as bisexual women, I do think on the other side of the scale that the perception of the level of homophobia and the numbers that won't meet bisexual men is completely overplayed. In my experience the number that won't meet bisexual men is actually in the minority rather than being *many* - the majority either aren't in the slightest bit bothered either way, or actively seek us. The perception that the majority won't meet us comes initially from the fact that people tend to advertise they won't (to try and deter messages) which is more noticeable, and then the myth is perpetuated by those bisexual men who either can't get meets and use that as a reason, or by those "Fab straight" men that believe it and hide their sexuality and then approach other men anyway. As an openly bisexual man I've only experienced what I would call real homophobia on here a handful of times in three years, and it's certainly had no impact on my ability to meet people.

"Gay and bi men make me cringe on here, proper show up begging for straight men and worse, actually thinking they are getting a real one. On the other hand if they send a polite discrete message seeing if a man who has straight does meet men too (in other words discretely) then fine. But to message a male on basis they are straight and thinking you can turn them, what a show up "

" Why would it bother you so, is it stressing you out ? Ruining your day to day life ? Thinking you may give in ?" Speaking for ourselves and it might be the same for the original poster, but it is about "Honesty" or indeed lack of it!!!!! If you can not be Honest in your profile, then surely you should not be trusted in real life? That is our tuppence worth.

You are too damn irresistible. Take it as a compliment. (no, I didn't send OP any messages..even if I did, I won't admit it).

Never had a problem with homophobia, and I'm just as likely to be rejected / not what the other people are looking for because of my age, build, beard or whatever

"Much of this is very sad! What has happened to good old honesty? We have had a few successful social meets and many not so successful because of dishonesty! With us they are always found out and they will get absolutely no where! " Honesty upon sexual orientation doesn't give everybody the answers that they want. Lies about some things are clear lies. But, as I and others have detailed, not everyones sexuality is as clear cut and fixed as it is for many others. Bisexuality is also an incredibly varied range of interest. You'll find swingers who don't ever find the same gender attractive but who enjoy some same gender gay sex. Obviously that type of sexual interest is different to how gay or straight people typically are 'wired'. And occasional once off trying something, which they may find not to their taste, also is questionable if their sexual orientation has shifted 1 bit.
