How quickly would you swap personal details with someone on here?

Chatting to someone for 30min and clicking, they ask for my mrs mobile number so they can send her messages....when i say that its to soon they say they want meets not chat......am i mad or do people expext too much to soon on here?

Some do.

You're in control though and can set your own pace. Don't swap any details until you feel comfortable, if they're not happy with that then they're not the right person for you.

This is exactly why we use Kik.

Also what's wrong with keeping contact via fabs?

We never give our number to anyone.

We never give our numbers out. We use kik instead. But if someone was pushing us to do something we weren't comfortable with then we would block them. This is your journey, you do it the way you are most comfortable with.

^^^^ THIS!!! That sounds well dodgy after such little time, we use kik and always chat between the 3 of us and sassys dms are off.

We dont give out personal details! Lots of other apps to keep your personal life separated, such as kik.. This is just a sex site for us and there are LOTS of creeps out there that can use your number!

By a fuck phone (old phone free sim) set up anonymous email account. Never give personal info to anyone. You hold the cards especially with single men.

If they don't like it pick the next person in the queue!

I never give out my number to somone I haven't met in person... I even don't always let people who I see semi-regularly have my number... You get my number if we've met, I wanna see you again and I like you enough to want to keep in contact with you on a personal level not just to set up meets... Don't do anything that your not comfortable with

I tend to not give out my mobile number.

There is plenty of ways like others have mentioned you can chat, swap pictures, verify who's real without giving out personal information

Until I have met someone face to face, & even then only once I've built up some trust, I won't chat any where other than on here. The only exception is if it's a couple & I want to confirm that they are real, then I will arrange to speak with the female elsewhere.

I've had some abuse over my refusal to chat elsewhere but I find that's actually quite a useful filter.

What's wrong with using fab to communicate. As a couple you can both log in, both read, both reply. Personally if I am communicating with a couple I want them to both be involved in the conversation. If the couple requests to move to a different platform I will offer wickr, telegram, or wire. Each of those are not linked to my real world details and they can not be "reverse" searched back to me or my family. It's a matter of online and offline safety and there is no reason other than "control" for a guy to ask for the Mrs phone of a couple.

It varies from person to person.

I was approached recently by one Couple who evidently, had NOT read my profile; I'm not meeting at the moment for medical reasons (except for specific meet types), all detailed in my profile.

They asked for personal details incl stuff not on my profile but I politely refused. They didn't ask, but demanded WHY?

My response was to read my profile, where I don't use Skype etc - I have my reasons, but it's my choice.

They got really Uppity from there and ranted on about timewaster spoiling the site - all this within 10 minutes of their first message to me!!

They were blocked very quickly.

I know kik isn't everyone's idea of contact but I use it because no one has your number and you can mute anyone.

No location details nothing.

Trust is earnt not given.

I agree with the other post, KIK is secure and the safest way to chat. I'm extremely concerned when people request personal info straight away and then try and twist it that you're a faker etc when you don't give it. My safety is paramount and I would be worried about the rational thinking of someone else who gave out their personal details so freely.

We have had a few people asking, who have joined fab only a few hours before asking for phone numbers so they can send pics, in my opinion we are not willing to share numbers with people we havnt met, especially when they are new, no pics and if they have no veri's. We have only swapped numbers with people we now class as friends from meets x
