I don't think there are actually "loads" of womens profiles that won't meet bi men - as a bi male it's not been my experience anyway, there's just a (false IMHO) perception that there are because theh state it and therefore stand out more. But more to the point I think there's a number of reasons why there's a difference and it's not down to what you've suggested above. For starters for a lot of men the idea of seeing two women together is a turn on, whereas the idea of two men together is less appealing for some, so most men won't turn down the potential of seeing that happening. Then you have the myth around bisexual men being a higher risk of STIs than swingers (they're actually both in the high risk group) which leads to some people not wanting to meet them because of that (again false IMHO) perception - whereas the risks associated with bisexual women are much less (HIV transmission via oral with a woman has not been recorded for example) - so men are less likely to rule out bisexual women for that reason. I think both of those reasons probably account for the difference rather than an "any holes a goal" based rationale | |||
